Ann Durkee

I have been involved in the real estate industry since 1992, over 22 years of assisting both buyers and sellers. Years have passed with the best of clients and the rewards have been many. Being a Sales Agent/Realtor, I have witnessed over time many changes in the industry and all to the betterment of both buyers and sellers. Finding a buyer a home is rewarding. Dad loves his garage, Mom loves her kitchen and the children can't wait to pick out their very own room. Listing a home for a seller is a committment to market their property and one that I take seriously. What has kept me in the industry for the past 22 years is making people buying and selling homes happy.

My community is one that I am most happy to live in and one that I enjoy being involved in both in business and personally. I am a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors and CREA. I have served as a local member of that past Yarmouth Board as well as a Driector of NSAR and the Professional Standards Committee. My involvement with Realtors has been both enjoyable and rewarding.

Personally, I am a Past President of the Kinette Club, Past Girl Guide Leader, Past District Trainer, and Past President of the Rugg Bees Hooking Group. Presently I am an active member of the two Local Rug Hooking Groups of Yarmouth, Treasurer/Membership Chair of the South West Nova Scotia Ostomy Chapter and a Certified Ostomy Visitor.

My hobbies are walking, rug hooking and kayaking lakes and sea. My circle of friends is wonderful and I enjoy spending some of my liesure time with them. I have a Past Realtor as a spouse and a wonderful Nova Scotia Duck Retriever as my "Man's Best Friend". Two children and eight grandchildren encourage me to to travel to beautiful British Columbia as often as I can but for the rest of the time I enjoy what I do as a Realtor and living in this wonderful town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
